Occasionally, our therapists hold their own workshops on their respective specialities. These workshops are open to the public, and their goal is to increase people's awareness of their own health and well being, and to provide an alternative to medication. At present we are offering a two-day workshop called Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy.

In the Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy workshop you will learn about the nature and function of the craniosacral system, how it affects and is affected by the rest of the body, possible symptoms of dysfunction in this system, and how craniosacral therapy addresses these symptoms.

You will also learn a few simple but highly effective techniques for working with the craniosacral system, connective tissue and the body's own energy in order to improve health. You will find these techniques helpful in conditions such as headache, toothache, fever, inflammation, abscess or infection, stiff back or shoulder and general aches and pains. They can be particularly useful in allowing you to offer assistance between sessions if a friend or a member of your family is already receiving craniosacral therapy.
